Parenting Through a Jewish Lens (6-class series)

In Parenting Through a Jewish Lens, join together with other parents of young children to explore how Jewish values, traditions and wisdom can support us as we navigate our parenting journeys. Engage in meaningful discussions around Jewish text study that build community and friendships in a safe space for sharing the ups and downs of parenting, especially during these challenging times.

Online Sundays: July 12th-Aug 16th from 8:30pm-10:00pm

Offered through Hebrew College.

What parents are saying about PTJL:

  • It was nice to get out of myself and hear what others parents are thinking! Makes me feel like part of a community.

  • Really appreciate the diversity of our conversations and people sharing how they make Jewish meaning in their lives. The level of discussion was great!

  • I found it very valuable and enjoyable to connect and discuss with a group of peers.

  • The texts raise thought provoking questions that open the door to peer learning and reflection in ways that build understanding and community.

  • Helped me to think about the Jewish values in the home and how to incorporate them into our daily lives.

  • It's been really great to connect with the Jewish community in a way that addresses life with kids.

  • It was particular satisfying to have this class and connect with others during the isolation of the Coronavirus "stay at home" order.
