Celebrate & Connect: Jewish Holiday Couples' Series

Celebrate the Jewish Holidays together with your partner.  Not just a meal, a visit to family (hurray?!), or synagogue.  Mark the holiday by working on your relationship.  Sweeten your partnership and discover newness in Rosh Hashanah as a couple.  Practice forgiveness this Yom Kippur.  Explore productive conflict on Sukkot.  Talk money and gelt this Chanukah.  Talk about thoughts (and philosophies) on parenting this Passover and about spirituality on Shavuot.

Each session will be facilitated by Rabbi Getzel Davis, a chaplain at Harvard University and the founder of ZIVUG Institute for Couples.  He is a graduate of Hebrew College Rabbinical School and has a certificate in Family Systems Therapy from Therapy Training Boston.  He is also the founder and director of Unorthodox Celebrations which connects hundreds of couples each year with inspiring rabbis and cantors from across the US.  Getzel is a father of two and lives in Cambridge with his wife Leah.

As always, ZIVUG gatherings are a combination of Jewish wisdom study, couples’ exercises, and group process. All partnerships are welcome regardless of gender, sexual, or Jewish identity. Folks are welcome across the range of commitment level, from dating through marriage.

Cosponsored by ZIVUG, Unorthodox Celebrations, and Mayyim Hayyim
